Daz Alexandera Tendler (he/she/they)

Director | Clinical Sexologist

Daz Alexandera is a sex-positive and body-positive sexologist and a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists. Understanding that everyone’s sexual and relational needs are unique and diverse, Daz provides a non-judgmental and compassionate practice focused on individual well-being. They are deeply committed to removing the stigma and shame often attached to sex, sexuality, and self-expression. Passionate about creating safe, LGBTQIA+ inclusive spaces, Daz helps individuals feel confident in embracing their authentic selves.

Their sessions incorporate talk therapy, communication skills, and healthy redirection techniques, centring on themes of consent, exploration, empowerment, and desire. Daz works with clients of all sexualities and genders, including asexual and agender individuals.

Daz has significant experience and special interest in:

  • Supporting monogamous and non-monogamous adults in diverse relationship structures, fostering caring, healthy, and honest connections.

  • Helping individuals reconcile religious faith with their sexuality and gender.

  • Working with trans, gender-diverse, and non-binary people to explore gender in safe, affirming ways.

  • Guiding younger men in expressing their masculinity positively and healthfully.

  • Empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals in exploring their sexuality and achieving sexual confidence.

  • Supporting people with non-typical sexual fantasies, kinks, desires, and attractions.

Daz is trans, queer, and neurodiverse, and draws on their personal experiences with ethnicity, religion, class, gender, and neurodiversity to create safe, supportive spaces for marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQIA+ individuals and those with ADHD or autism. They value intentionality, boundaries, respect, and pleasure as central principles in their practice. Daz often works beyond traditional norms that can stigmatize and hinder sexual, relational, and personal growth. Their approach is informed by trauma, intersectional perspectives, and queer theory, affirming the value of queerness and diverse lived experiences.
